Bharathiyar Vs Bharathidasan

Both Bharathiyar and Bharathidasan changed the way Tamil poems are written, made it very simple understandable by comman man. Bharathidasan after got acquainted with Bharahtiyar , so much influenced by him, he changed his name from Suburathinam to Bharahtidasan. Though their ideas coinceded on the subject of Freedom movement, women empowerment, Tamil language there is world of difference between them. Bharathiyar used lot of Sanskrit words in his poem, Bharathidasan never did. Though Bharathiyar totally opposed casteism but staunch follower of Hinduism but Bharathidasan is strong atheist, follower of Dravidian movement, he proclaimed himself "I am an undying atheist".
